For me, LUMANATION is about putting revolutionary messages into the social sphere, my joy at playing guitar, and raising people's spirits.
Music is the great unifier. I have always felt my best when live music was being played. Once I got to the point where I could write songs, music took on the character of a sacred mission.
Playing guitar is a visceral expression of my emotional state. I can feel the wood, frets and tone of each instrument. When I play music, my body comes alive with sensations, it feels so good to be alive.
When I was 15, I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. The energy at that show was so epic, so truely magical, that I realised the enormous spirutal power of Reggae. The way people in the audience reacted to the "medicine" and the music, inspired me. I began to awaken to the fact, that we have the power to change the world, if we can get everybody together. Bob united all cultures under the reggae banner. He wove a context that was ultimately inclusive of all who would stand up for a natural vibration. He raised spirits, hopes, and energized people to action.
